The flagship experience center of Xpeng Auto, a Chinese new energy vehicle brand, is located in a trendy urban landmark. It serves as a showcase for Xpeng's new energy vehicles and a technology lifestyle gallery tailored for those seeking fashion and fresh experiences. Mexarts designed this new flagship experience center around the core impressions of mystery, technology, trendiness, and youth that Xpeng Auto aims to convey. We provided comprehensive original design services including architectural design, spatial design, material design, furniture design, as well as the development and production of customized commercial furniture.
After graduating from Tama Art University, Eiji Yoshida worked at andesign and then belonged to CURIOSITY and studied under Gwenael Nicolas. For eight years at CURIOSITY, he participated in the store design for UNIQLO BLACK, COSMEME, LOUIS VUITTON Ginza Namiki, NISSAN MOTOR SHOW, LEXUS RX MUSEUM, Tokyo Midtown cherry blossom light-up pop-up exhibition, Nikkei Shimbun headquarters building and MORIMOTO KAWASAKI TOWER entrance hall and etc.
He established design studio BALLON in 2012. Focusing on interior design, he is active in a wide range of fields, transcending genres and expanding into Southeast Asia, in addition to Japan. In recent years he has also been involved in the development of materials, pursuing a new world of texture that has never been seen before.
