In this preliminary stage, quotations and value engineering will be discussed with customers. After confirming the quotation, preliminary drawings, materials and color samples will be provided. More technical and safety structural suggestions regarding production drawings will be discussed with the designers together with our R&D specialist. These will define project specifications and will be quoted before production is completed.

Mexarts Group use exhaustive and elaborated construction 2-3D drawings with most professional discipline PDM (Product Data Management) system for technical engineering and makes prototypes based on these drawings. Then, our expert team will fine-tune the materials, detailing the technicalities and required processes to accurately deliver the required content.

At this point, Mexarts identify and prepare all the specific elements provided for each area and each purpose (bedroom, public space, restaurant, etc.), and create a BOM (Bill of Materials) for each of these individual areas.

Once the prototype is produced, it can be touched, ready to feel and see the factual furniture, and find any difficulties before mass production. Therefore, prototyping is crucial, and Mexarts can help realize the ideas in the drawings.

Mexarts Labo Pro system has a huge manufacturing workshop high management system developed in our owned factories, which has been led to track the assembly procedures and component traceability of each project and the accurate timetable for preparing materials. Seams are essential to the construction of furniture. At Mexarts, we emphasize the construction method to create stability and strength for all projects. We have an expert product development and technical team, they have more than 26 years of experience in wood production.

At Mexarts, our projects use multiple types of metals, for instance: iron, stainless steel, copper and aluminum, and we are able to produce surface treatments as metal plating, brushed metal, polished, sandblasted, powder coating, and thermal blackening. We ensure that our quality control of metal production is commensurate with the standard quality of our woodworking craftsmanship.

Mexarts has a powerfully built upholstery technology, which is adopted by our long history of upholstery development technique started in Danish market for more than 125 years. We produce top quality upholsteries worldwide. Although sewing seems to be a simple process, professional upholstery sewing is a rather complicated process, which involves a lot of preparation and mathematical calculations to achieve perfect seam quality. High-quality sewing also depends on good technical knowledge in pattern design and production.

When decorating and finishing furniture with any product, proper wood preparation is essential. The preparation and polishing stage is as important as the painting stage. In Mexarts, we use water-based paints that are less harmful to the human body and the environment, and release a small amount of toxic substances into the air after many years of use. Low VOC coatings can reduce toxin levels and benefit customers who are allergic to skin and chemical substances.

Ever since Mexarts’s foundation, furniture inspection and quality control has been part of Mexarts’s DNA. When it was first established the company was the quality control arm in Asia leading furniture manufacturing sector. Since then our product expertise in this sector has been in continuous development and we are now proud to operate the strongest network in Asia for furniture quality control.

Products are individually packaged in special protective cardboard boxes, and other packaging materials are used to improve safety. All products are cleaned and treated with white gloves to ensure that every piece is in ideal condition. Packages are clearly marked with a logical number sequence so that the field team can easily identify and install parts upon arrival.
