“SSAW Garden” is the premium brand line under the SSAW Hotel Group. SSAW Garden Hotel Beijing, formerly known as Beijing Huaqiao Hotel, was initiated by overseas Chinese patriotic leader Madam He Xiangning and designed and built under the leadership of the renowned architect Mr. Liang Sicheng as a traditional Chinese courtyard hotel. First opened in 1954, it has been hailed as “a home for Chinese people around the world.”
The hotel is situated on the eastern section of the historic hutong Beixin Qiao San Tiao (also known as Wang Daren Hutong), adjacent to Yonghegong Street and Dongzhimen Inner Street, in a hutong cultural preservation area within the CBD core. Its design fuses open, airy spaces with lush courtyard gardens and the distinctive hutong streetscapes of old Beijing. Here, hutong culture and the legacy of historical figures become a medium for authentic local experiences, seamlessly intertwined with modern comfort—leaving every guest with a truly memorable stay.
