Description
Refined elegance，strong functionality
As the name implies, which means “refined elegance” in Japanese, Okura has a simple but fashionable design. The grand round mirror has an elegant back curve. Viewed from the side, it seems to emboss from the wall. A small stainless steel plate, which has Noir logo on it, is inserted on the golden ratio position on the mirror, a way to show the superb craftsmanship and implant brand elements. Being functional, Okura is also a decorative picture in the room.

The studio Hans Thyge & Co he founded in 1990 has a long history of know-how and experience in advanced modelling, working with all kinds of materials and production methods. Their processes are structured and monitored very carefully to ensure that the result meets the expectations.
Hans Thyge & Co consists of passionate people with strong opinions and a love for great design. They believe in combining brain and heart – function and aesthetics, and that every design should tell a story. It’s all about creativity, traditions, visions, cultures and values.
Hans has contributed a great many designs in Mexarts’ Noir collection, such as the iconic Peninsula dining table, Puli Chair and Kerry Desk.
